Getting Beyond The Crust
with Joe Greenberg
I strive to create a space where you can take honest stock of your life. Not simply to reduce symptoms, but to better understand the patterns, relationships, and survival strategies that have shaped who you’ve become.

I work with thoughtful, emotionally attuned adults who are often the ones holding everything together—for their families, their work, and everyone but themselves.
Â
Many come to therapy with a quiet sense that somewhere along the way, they’ve lost touch with what they actually want. This can show up as anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, trauma, or the disorientation that comes with a major life transition.

My approach is relational and insight-oriented, drawing from psychodynamic and object relations traditions alongside Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and interpersonal therapy.
Â
Together, we’ll explore not only what you’re experiencing now, but the deeper patterns and relationships that may be shaping how you move through the world. I also offer psychedelic integration for those looking to understand and make meaning of psychedelic experiences.

My style is warm, direct, curious, and attuned. I believe meaningful therapy grows from a strong relationship built on trust, honesty, and the freedom to explore what may be difficult to put into words.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and you don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. If this resonates with you, I’d be glad to connect. Please feel welcome to reach out for a free consultation.
